5 Free Social Media Management Tools to Transform Your Beauty Business

Social media is no doubt one of the most powerful tools available to reach customers and spread awareness about your beauty brand. With the oversaturation of the beauty market, having a great social media presence can be the key to setting your brand apart from others, and winning customers over the competition. However, managing your own page can be pretty hard and time consuming if you don’t have the right tools. Here’s a list of some of our favorite social media tools to create an awesome social media presence for your beauty brand!

Social Media Management Tool 1: Hootsuite

Hootsuite is arguably one of the most popular social media tools among businesses, and it’s easy to understand why. Hootsuite is easy to use, and allows you to manage multiple social media accounts under its platform.

With Hootsuite’s free plan, your beauty brand can manage up to three different social media accounts and schedule up to 30 posts at one time. The Hootsuite Dashboard (which is just the main page you will see when you log into Hootsuite) is set up in columns, so that you can see all of your social media activity on one page. This includes your previous posts organized by each social media platform, your scheduled posts, any mentions that you have on social media, your Twitter timeline, and more.

One downside to Hootsuite’s free plan is that you cannot access any analytics from your accounts with it. However, you can upgrade to a paid plan or use the analytics tools on your Facebook and Instagram accounts to view them.

Overall, Hootsuite’s free plan is a great option if you’re looking to manage multiple social media accounts to build your beauty brand.

Social Media Management Tool 2: Later

Later is another great social media tool, and it allows you to manage your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts for free under its platform! Later’s free plan allows users to manage one social account per platform with 30 Instagram posts, 50 Twitter posts, 30 Facebook posts, and 30 Pinterest posts per month. Later also has a built-in analytics tool to help you see and understand how well your content is performing.

One downside to Later’s free plan is that it only allows you to schedule posts for single images. In order to schedule videos, Instagram stories, or Instagram carousel posts (which is the term for multi-image posts) you need to have a paid Later subscription.

Later’s free plan is another great choice for managing your beauty brand’s social media accounts. With Later, you are able to have an account on each major social media platform with more than enough posts allowed per month. This is a great social media tool, no matter the size of your brand.

Social Media Management Tool 3: Buffer

If you’re looking for a simpler social media tool, Buffer may be a better fit for your beauty brand. Buffer’s free plan allows users to schedule a maximum of 10 posts at a time on up to three social accounts.

Buffer has a simpler layout than both Hootsuite and Later, so you may find it easier to work with than those options.

Much like Hootsuite, Buffer does not show any analytics within the tool itself. However, you could instead use the analytics tools within the social media platforms themselves for some basic insights.

Overall, Buffer is a simple and easy-to-work-with tool, making it a great option to manage your beauty brand’s social media.

Social Media Management Tool 4: Social Pilot

Next on our list is Social Pilot. Social Pilot’s free plan is compatible with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. This tool allows you to schedule posts on three social media accounts with 30 posts per platform every month.

One of Social Pilot’s unique features is that it allows you to schedule content in bulk. Like Hootsuite, Social Pilot has a dashboard that allows users to see all the content and posts scheduled for a specific day in one place. Social Pilot also allows you to schedule one post on multiple social media platforms at one time.

Unfortunately, the free version of Social Pilot only allows you to post single images. You are not able to schedule videos or multi-images posts on the Social Pilot dashboard.

Social Pilot is a great social media management tool and very comparable to Hootsuite. If scheduling social media content in bulk is important to you, then it may be the best choice for our brand.

Social Media Management Tool 5: Socialoomph

Socialoomph is another great social media management tool with a few different offerings than the other options on this list.

The free Socialoomph plan will allow you to schedule an unlimited number of posts to one social media profile. You can also use Socialoomph to post to your blog. You can create and schedule the publishing time of your blogs, and then schedule social media posts to direct your followers to your blog all using Socialoomph.

The biggest downside of Socialoomph is that many of its features on the free plan are geared only towards Twitter. Users are able to schedule tweets, track keywords and shorten URLs – all of which are great features for Twitter users. If you want to use Socialoomph for other platforms, you have to switch to a paid plan.

But if you are looking for a social media management tool for your brand’s Twitter account, then Socialoomph is a great choice for you.
